The Regions Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Original price was: $13.80.$10.00Current price is: $10.00.The reason there are so many Glug brands is because we prefer to bottle each wine to preserve the difference, however tiny. Overriding all of the small differences is the flavour of the Barossa Valley and the Glug style which favours full flavours. Expect from us a red over 14% alcohol as we are not excited by the flavours of low alcohol reds.

Terrene Estates South Australia Chardonnay 2024
$9.60Vines arrived with the First Fleet, collected from European vineyards, while cuttings also came from Madeira and Cape Town, both with a long wine making history. More varieties arrived with the Busby collection of the 1830s. We know Chardonnay existed for a long time in Mudgee yet what was the origin? New clonal selections arrived though it was not till the mid to late 1980s that sufficient Chardonnay was being made to meet demand. Now all vineyard districts grown Chardonnay though it is no longer favoured in warm regions like the Barossa Valley. This Terrene Estates is a Glug blend from several sources.

-
Farmers & Growers ‘The Ploughman’ South Australia Shiraz Mataro 2022
$8.20All drinkers have a need for that small batch, inexpensive wine for occasions when the cellar of premiums should not be raided. Plenty of times we like to have a glass in hand when doing busy jobs and simply do not have a moment to reflect on the wine. This is the time to open a Quaffing Dry Red (QDR).
-
Glug ‘The Escapee’ Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
$14.60In a district like the Barossa Valley the long summer never ends and grapes can be left hanging well into April or May and you can watch the berries shrivel in the heat. Vintage 2021 was favourable for the development of flavours and is as close to 10/10 as is possible. The grapes for this Glug Cabernet were harvested for full ripeness in the Glug style. We prefer drinking wines when younger though this wine will hand around in a good cellar for a long time.
-
Landaus Vintners ‘The Diviner’ South Australia Shiraz Grenache 2022
Original price was: $8.80.$7.00Current price is: $7.00.I rate this Diviner as the best we have made and that is because of the base we discovered last year. Also supplies of warm climate Grenache have improved allowing us to spread this resource into wines like the Diviner.
-
Glug GH29 Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
$14.20These Individual Barrel bottlings will show why Barossa Cabernet belongs on your dining table. This GH29 Single Barrel will repay long term cellaring though is gorgeous now. We rate the vintage as 10/10.
-
Farmers & Growers ‘The Ploughman’ South Australia Shiraz Grenache 2022
$8.70Can you make good wine that does not cost so much? Yes you can and when we began Glug we wanted a range of ‘quaffing dry reds’ or QDR’s as they are called that were of superior quality.
