Crayford was a tiny village at the Southern end of Tanunda as Langmeil was at the Northern end. There are half a dozen houses in Crayford built with the uncommon Barossa Valley rock ferricrete with was mined locally and these are absolute gems. That are found elsewhere in Tanunda but are uncommon. Houses made with this rock only occur in Tanunda within the Barossa Valley. Crayford is a more experimental varietal driven range than the wines of Goat Square and Langdorf which are traditional.
