Goat Square Barossa Valley Grenache Mataro Rosé 2024
$14.50There is a textural quality to these Rosés, the result of course of the varieties, that pushes them to a level beyond the fresh, pink coloured Rosés made like a white wine from cool regions. The very best of Provence might just draw close to this Goat Square.
-

-
Karrawirra Single Vineyard ‘Biscay’ Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
$26.00Glug created the first single vineyard Karrawirra wines in 2013. This Biscay Vineyard release continues the tradition. Incidentally most single vineyard Karrawirra wines are from the far northern Barossa where it is hotter.
-
Goat Square ‘Ziegenmarkt’ Reserve Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021
$18.50The 2021 is exceptional being from the 10/10 vintage 2021. This makes it the eighth release of Ziegenmarkt.
The reasons why the Barossa is associated with rich flavours is complex though is due to the geography, the inland summer heat and cooling air from the west. We now know enough to say that no other place on earth duplicates these conditions. Shiraz takes on a concentrated, heady flavour, with a luxurious mid-palate sensation of fruit sweetness.

Old Moppa Road Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019
$14.80Original price was: $14.80.$10.80Current price is: $10.80.Western edge of the northern Barossa Valley.

BVWS Barossa Valley Wine Supply Industrial Strength Barossa Valley Durif 2020
$16.80The wines we like to sell have been frowned upon by the Australian wine elite for 50 years. This wine is not about delicacy and finesse which is about searching for flavour and comes from the other side of the ledger, the black side where flavour is everything. Pushes 16% alcohol. Very much a Glug style of red.
-
Three Hares No.2 Barossa Valley Mataro Grenache Shiraz 2020
$14.90It has been apparent since at least the 1940s that the fruit intensity and complex flavours that develop in a suite of varieties is unique to the Barossa Valley.
-
Goat Square Barossa Valley Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2023
$15.80The best way to sample the taste of Grenache and Mataro is with a GSM blend. Glug have been supporters of this style since our beginning and customers are steadily moving from curiosity to regular enjoyment.
-
Crayford Barossa Valley Shiraz Durif 2022
$14.80What varieties can be used to make wines that create a taste that carries the global badge ‘made in Australia’. Shiraz for sure as it takes on another dimension in our warm regions. Of the many hundreds of other varieties it is work in motion though a Glug favourite for stardom is Durif.
-
Goat Square Barossa Valley Grenache 2021
$15.80Original price was: $15.80.$10.80Current price is: $10.80.The Goat square wines are about tradition thus we use simple wine making methods which are applied to ripe to fully ripe fruit.
-
Glug ‘The Long Shot’ Barossa Valley Primitivo Shiraz 2023
$13.70Original price was: $13.70.$10.00Current price is: $10.00.This is a red you will enjoy being a blend of the Italian variety Primitivo with our local favourite Shiraz. Shiraz is the outstanding variety for Australia and rises to heights that eclipse any other Global region. The blend with Primitive works as this variety also responds to our local summer heat. A pleasing addition to the Glug portfolio.
-
The Green Patch Barossa Valley Riesling 2024
$14.20This Barossa Riesling is an each-way bet showing cool-warm climate features. It is the first we have offered since the retail days of the 1970s. Will age well.
-
Old Moppa Road Barossa Valley Durif 2020
$14.80Deep in colour with great power describes the style Glug likes. Why the genes of the warm climate loving Shiraz when crossed with those of the high altitude, cool climate Peloursin produce the perfect variety for Australia, Durif, I do not understand. Instead of a mid-way point we have a supercharged Shiraz. Wonderful wine and the aroma will tell you what to expect.
-
BVWS Barossa Valley Wine Supply Industrial Strength Barossa Valley Shiraz Durif 2018
$22.60This Industrial Strength is 15.4% alc/vol. The Italians make a variety of wine called Amarone which is made after the grapes have been partially dehydrated on racks to lower the water level. This Industrial Strength is not made that way as we simply isolated a patch of grapes to make this natural ripe style, fermented dry I quickly add, and what is created is deep in colour and packed with flavour.
-
Goat Square Barossa Valley Mataro 2019
$15.80We are big fans of Mataro and suggest you experiment with the taste difference.

Trial Bin 093 Barossa Cabernet Merlot Cabernet Franc M.V.
$10.40Great wines have been produced since the red wine trials of the 1950s by Max Schubert showed us the way. These evolved into Penfolds Range and the sweeping range of Bin numbers of today. This Trial Bin 093 helps us understand the blending of Barossa Valley with Eden Valley wines.
