Kitts Creek Barossa Valley Mataro 2018
$14.50The Barossa Valley is about 30 kilometres in length and we favour grapes from the central to northern limit as these provide the rich, full bodied styles which Glug favours.
-
Fareham Estates Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
$15.60A big rich, juicy Cabernet, minty, intense flavours, being part of the ‘five star red haul’ we stumbled across in mid-2024. Five stars being the winery rating of the wine writer James Halliday. Halliday published ‘Clare Valley-the history the vignerons and the wines’, in 1985. He devotes a section to Fareham Estate which was founded in 1966.

$7.50These are small volumes from 20 to 30 cases created for customer interest.
-
Waitohi Springs Marlborough New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc 2023
$12.80Who was to know that plantings of Sauvignon Blanc along the river terraces of the Wairau River, draining the northern end of the South Island of New Zealand, in 1973 were to produce a taste sensation.
-
Mount Eagle Eden Valley Cabernet Syrah 2022
$14.10The best way I can describe this Mount Eagle is to appreciate that the medium density, the result of the location, displays a range of flavours, perhaps fragrant, which tend to be masked in wines from the adjoining Barossa Valley.
-
Hopcroft & Cornock McLaren Vale Rosé 2024
$13.80This is the first McLaren Vale Rosé we have stocked, a wine style that Glug enjoys when made from warm climate regions. Rosés made from the varieties Grenache and Mataro which fruit well in warm climates are our favourites.

Farmers & Growers ‘The Ploughman’ South Australia Shiraz Grenache 2022
$8.70Can you make good wine that does not cost so much? Yes you can and when we began Glug we wanted a range of ‘quaffing dry reds’ or QDR’s as they are called that were of superior quality.
