• The Green Patch Barossa Valley Riesling 2024

    $14.20

This Barossa Riesling is an each-way bet showing cool-warm climate features. It is the first we have offered since the retail days of the 1970s. Will age well.

  • Glug GH29 Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Original price was: $14.20.Current price is: $10.00.

These Individual Barrel bottlings will show why Barossa Cabernet belongs on your dining table. This GH29 Single Barrel will repay long term cellaring though is gorgeous now. We rate the vintage as 10/10.

  • Glug Barossa Valley Shiraz Cabernet Mataro N.V.

    $12.80

I preach younger is better and in this case this is balanced by the wine being recently bottled and freshened with 2022 just before bottling. I see the role of this wine as being for the many occasions where a drink is required but not worthy of opening one of the best bottles.

  • Terrene Estates South Australia Shiraz 2022

    $11.30

This Terrene Estates is a blend of Shiraz from warmer South Australian districts.

  • Glug ‘Nouveau Rouge’ McLaren Vale Gamay 2022

    $14.90

This Gamay is a first for Glug and if your mind wanders to far off travels then this is ideal.

  • Glug ‘Sunday Drive’ Adelaide Hills Shiraz 2023

    $14.60

Adelaide Hills vineyards are small and variable. A bit of good ground here and a further tiny parcel over the hill crest. Pocket handkerchief vineyards. Less common is exposure to the summer heat which ripens Shiraz and this ‘Sunday Drive’ we found irresistible and so purchased from a small garagiste maker. Cool climate though in the style of Eden Valley.

  • Dark Matter Exploration No.2

    $14.50

Imagine a wine which is a black glass, passed via a hatch into a darkened room, where you sit on your own, to make of the wine what you will.

  • Glug ‘The Escapee’ Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

    $14.60

In a district like the Barossa Valley the long summer never ends and grapes can be left hanging well into April or May and you can watch the berries shrivel in the heat. Vintage 2021 was favourable for the development of flavours and is as close to 10/10 as is possible. The grapes for this Glug Cabernet were harvested for full ripeness in the Glug style. We prefer drinking wines when younger though this wine will hand around in a good cellar for a long time.

  • Square Mile Barossa Valley Cabernet Merlot 2020

    $13.80

As I tell customers ‘judge what is in the glass’ not what you wish it to be. Barossa Merlot is delicious when you ask, is it a good drink.

  • GH17 WIBS Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

    $13.80

Single vineyard family-owned block south of the Barossa town of Tanunda.

  • Glug South Australian Cabernet Mix

    $138.00

The Mix contains one each of the following wines:

Langdorf ‘Kaldukee’ Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Old Moppa Road Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Glug ‘Back Block’ Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Glug ‘Cellar Range’ Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
The Perfect Press Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Glug ‘The Green Patch’ Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
P.B. Burgoyne Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Telegraph Road South Australia Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Karrawirra Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Goat Square Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Light & Finniss Fleurieu Peninsula Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Hope Farm McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
  • Farmers Museum Selection Fine Old Barossa Valley Tawny 750mL

    $55.00

Great vintages happen when everything goes just right such as a long even ripening without stress on the vine and thus the bunches of grapes. The excitement grows that 2021 will be one of the classics and I have my finger crossed that it may equal the 1996.

  • BVWS Barossa Valley Wine Supply Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022

    $16.50

The wines we like to sell have been frowned upon by the Australian wine elite for 50 years. This wine is not about delicacy and finesse. It comes from the other side of the ledger, the dark side where flavour is everything. Pushes 15% alcohol. Very much a Glug style of red.

  • Glug ‘GH53’ Winemaker’s Individual Barrel Selection Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

    $14.20

Since 2016 we have been bottling the best of the best which are always in small volumes, and can be single barrels. The first bottled in-house single barrel was released in late 2017. They are now a regular part of the Glug yearly production.
