Terrene Estates South Australia Rosé 2022
$8.00As I preach it is what is in the glass that counts and the 2022 vintage is a fabulous buy. This vintage is labelled as Terrene a medieval English term which is a bit like the French term terroir. As for the wine, well it tastes good and is a result of blending several regions so we decided to call it South Australia.

Telegraph Road South Australia Shiraz Cabernet 2018
$7.50Our idea for this Telegraph Road was two good base wines which in-turn are blends and both with adequate barrel age. Wines like this are not world beaters but useful drinks and please note they have been bottled al late 2023 from barrel stock.
-
Terrene Estates South Australia Cabernet Merlot 2017
$8.60We recently found an astonishing collection of reds in a five-star winery in the Clare Valley and knowing we would not see its like again purchased more than usual.
-
Cellar Range Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
$14.50Back in October we were given our choice of barrels of Clare Valley reds from a five-star rated winery. While they retained the very best to be able to select what we wanted from the rest we knew was a rare honour.
-
Limited Release Batch 32C Clare Valley Shiraz 2022
$15.50Glug moves to where the bargains can be discovered and you will quickly appreciate our enthusiasm for this Clare Valley Shiraz. And note we are believers that younger, and fresher is better.
-
Farmers & Growers ‘The Ploughman’ South Australia Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
$8.00QDR’s is shorthand for quaffing dry reds which is a Glug specialty. They are handcrafted from a base of the major variety which is adjusted with wines from premium regions.
-
Terrene Estates South Australia Shiraz Cabernet 2018
$9.00The wine to pour when you are working the back-yard BBQ. Naturally made from warm climate fruit which is how we like them.
-
Broken Slate Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
$14.00On my 2024 new year’s list is spending more time in the Clare Valley. We know the wines are great, as good as any made globally, yet they do have a twist to them. What creates this character will have something to do with the how the unusual geography reacts with the climate weather.
