This week we are shopping in McLaren Vale. What an interesting lot. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot, Tinta Madeira, Touriga, Grenache, Mataro, Malbec, Tempranillo… Holy cow! A fun day in the office.
We are taking at least two bites at this – some very good wines but how much can we handle?
Our first round offer on the 2019 Merlot, 2019 Touriga, 2020 Shiraz, 2020 Malbec, 2021 Malbec and 2021 Tempranillo has been accepted.
Located at three different sites – some being over the hills and 60km away from McLaren Vale in Langhorne Creek. McLaren Vale itself is 120km south of the Barossa Valley so some logistical manoeuvring required to get the barrels back – we’ll work that out later.
Once the wines are here we blend and bottle and offer directly to you from the Glug Online shop. Likely about a month before they start popping out of the bottling line.
