• Glug ‘Bethany Road’ Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Original price was: $14.20.Current price is: $9.00.

Barossa Cabernet is different to those from cooler districts being warmer and riper on the palate and this ‘one off’ is very much in the Glug style.

  • Goat Square Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022

Original price was: $15.80.Current price is: $11.00.

This style of wine is what we wished to make when coming to the Barossa. This is achieved by using simple wine making methods, summed up as pick, ferment in small open fermenters, settle and age in old, oak puncheons.

  • Goat Square Barossa Valley Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2023

Original price was: $15.80.Current price is: $9.00.

The best way to sample the taste of Grenache and Mataro is with a GSM blend. Glug have been supporters of this style since our beginning and customers are steadily moving from curiosity to regular enjoyment.

  • Bagot Station Barossa Valley Shiraz Cabernet 2023

Original price was: $13.40.Current price is: $9.00.

Drink this vintage sooner not later as the extraordinary aroma is its great joy.

  • Karrawirra Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021

Original price was: $16.50.Current price is: $11.00.

The great vintages are associated with a normal, steady ripening, plus an extended period for picking without being rushed to harvest. The wine maker when asked to comment replies that the wines made themselves. Such was the 2021 vintage, the 14th for Karrawirra.

  • Langdorf Barossa Valley Cabernet 2019

Original price was: $16.50.Current price is: $10.00.

The importance of Barossa Valley Cabernet will rise and rise in the decade ahead because consumers are taking note.

  • Kitts Creek Barossa Valley Mataro 2018

Original price was: $14.50.Current price is: $10.00.

The Barossa Valley is about 30 kilometres in length and we favour grapes from the central to northern limit as these provide the rich, full bodied styles which Glug favours.

  • Old Moppa Road Barossa Valley Cabernet Merlot 2019

Original price was: $14.50.Current price is: $9.00.

Cabernet makes firm wines and the tannic toughness can get out of control so blending with the soft, fleshiness of Merlot comes naturally.

  • Stockwell Creek Barossa Valley Mataro 2018

Original price was: $19.50.Current price is: $10.00.

Glug is a huge supporter of Mataro so please join us and place a bottle on the dinner table. The best choice to start with is Mataro from the Barossa Valley.

  • Langdorf Kaldukee Barossa Valley Mataro 2020

Original price was: $12.40.Current price is: $9.00.

Bit by bit the status of Mataro is growing with Glug seeing Mataro as a variety of great significance from warm climate regions.

  • Karrawirra Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Original price was: $16.50.Current price is: $10.00.

The Barossa Valley has a long history with Cabernet though it’s not rated as highly as the Shiraz which is wrong. We made just under 100 cases.

  • Mount Eagle Eden Valley Cabernet Syrah 2022

Original price was: $14.10.Current price is: $8.00.

The best way I can describe this Mount Eagle is to appreciate that the medium density, the result of the location, displays a range of flavours, perhaps fragrant, which tend to be masked in wines from the adjoining Barossa Valley.

  • Mount Eagle Eden Valley Montepulciano 2021

Original price was: $14.10.Current price is: $8.00.

Montepulciano is a southern Italian variety and the Eden Valley with a more Mediterranean climate than the Barossa is the best place to see how this variety performs in our southern climates.

  • Village Belle Barossa Valley Grenache 2022

Original price was: $14.50.Current price is: $9.00.

We are interested in taste variations to Barossa and Eden Valley varieties beyond our core range of Shiraz and Cabernet.
